New Pistons


Back from the re boreist
He numbered the pistons for best fit
Oil ring in
Top chamfered compression rin
Second compression ring
New base Gasket
New genuine Cam chain roller and guide
Home made piston ring clamp
All ring clamps on ready for cylinders 
Lower the barrells and wind crank to raise two middle pistons
Two middle pistons slide in
All four pistons in snug mmmm
Barrell slips down nice
All four pots looking good

Gasket on now lets bolt on the head

Idiot lights





Bit of a bake for the enamel paint to harden
Jems in
Plate on and looking good

Master the cylinder

Manky faded and leaking

Home made tool to hold piston down
Out comes the cir clip
My home made piston holder and all the old bits 
After a through clean and dry spray with Black satin and cook at 125 for 1 hour 
I think after a good cooking it has come out nice
Looks a lot more Matt finish in real life
Will weather in great

Clean shaft out with 2000 paper

New and old side by side

All done ready to bolt on
